Frequently Asked Questions

How long and how often are the sessions.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and usually take place weekly.
 
How many sessions will I need.
Some people wish to come for a short period and others longer-term. From experience I suggest twelve sessions initially at which point we can evaluate the work. I always recommend a planned finish if possible.
 
What are the arrangements for holidays and breaks.
I don't charge for planned holidays. However there is value in therapy sessions taking place regularly and it is important to discuss anything that gets in the way of this happening. I will give you  at least 2 weeks notice of any planned break I'm having.

Where are your consulting rooms

•  I work in Portland Road in rooms that are part of Hove Counselling and Psychotherapy (see map)

• There are toilet facilities in the building but no waiting area.

• There is on-street pay and display parking nearby and some free parking at certain times of day.
